Bobbles Hairdressing was established by Mark and Kathryn Tonge along with two assistants in 1984. The first salon in Tottington was followed by another salon in Bury town centre in 1998 and the team has now grown in strength to thirty. The philosophy of the salon, from day one, has been ‘To deliver the highest quality of hairdressing and service consistently and to treat every client as an individual’.
The foundation for Bobbles success has been its highly trained team and their dedication and commitment to the Bobbles philosophy. Bobbles place a great emphasis on high quality training for all the team through its excellent in house National Vocational Training Programme. The team are encouraged to attend world leading specialised courses to sharpen and hone their skills on cutting and colouring keeping them abreast of the latest trends.

The team truly believe that the most important person in the salon is the client and our business is focused on providing a high level of service yet in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
The Tottington salon is set in a beautiful Lancashire village which lies between Ramsbottom and Bury was established in 1984 and even though it is in a village setting it has gained a reputation in the area for providing high levels of cutting and colouring that you would expect from a city centre salon. The salon has a warm and relaxed feel and focuses on the clients needs.
The Bury salon was opened in 1998 and the dynamic team are led by Manageress Susan Eardley and Salon Co-ordinator Ann Murphy. The salon is bright and vibrant and has an energetic, fun and relaxing atmosphere. Bobbles Bury houses the Bobbles Hair Academy which delivers NVQ’s to the team as well as other salons in the Greater Manchester.
