What is the work like as a hair designer?

You days work will be varied and you will be meeting different people with differing needs and desires throughout the day. You will be using all the professional skills that you have learnt such as

· All aspects of cutting techniques

- All aspects of colouring hair

· Communication skills

· Perming

· Providing five step to each client and a high standard of service

· Providing advice to clients on hair care products and styling tools

· Promoting yourself to increase your client numbers

The main focus of designers within Bobbles is to fulfil the needs and desires of the clients by listening to what they want and then building a relationship with the  client for years to come. We beleive that clients deseve something special and that is why we recruit and train special people.

All the designers within Bobbles are encouraged to work towards Continual Professional Development (CPD) this may take the form of in salon training sessions or attending a Training school in Manchester or London. We actively encourage all our designers to get as involved in the business as possible by working on photo shoots, competition work and creative evenings within the salon. What salary can I expect as a Designer and other benefits can I expect?

You will start on the rate of £190, depending on your level of experience, plus when you achieve certain figures you will receive a % commission bonus. Our designers can expect to earn between starting £190 up to £800+ per week.
