Bobbles' Tottington salon, established in 1984, is set in a beautiful Lancashire village lying between Ramsbottom and Bury. The salon quickly gained a reputation in the area for providing high standards of cutting and colouring that one would expect from a city centre salon.
I am a director of Bobbles along with my husband, Mark. I have a passion, hunger and desire for hairdressing which has never waned in my 28 years in the craft. It is great to have a job which varies day to day and being able to create hair designs that change people’s lives and the way they feel about themselves. My personal philosophy is to give my best to my clients and the team every day.
I have worked at Bobbles for 27 years and I still get great satisfaction from my job. I enjoy going to London on courses, mainly Vidal Sassoon’s, to gain inspiration and new ideas which I can put into practice in the salon. I believe that you need to keep up to date so that your clients are getting the latest looks. I am also the manager of the Tottington salon and I get a lot of fulfilment from the teams achievements seeing them progress within the salon.
I have worked for Bobbles for 28 years, 11 years as manageress at the Bury salon. It really motivates me to see the team developing and performing to a high standard. Consistency and professionalism are my priority. I love hairdressing as every day is different greeting regular and new clients.
I have been at Bobbles 21 years. I am an educator delivering NVQ to the apprentices within the Bobbles businesses. I am also a Salon Principal and I specialise in colour and have achieved the coveted Master Colour Award twice with Schwarzkopf and Wella. I love resolving problem colours when clients put colours on at home and they go wrong. I am a very caring person and a family centred person.
I started working for Bobbles 17 years ago as an assistant and I have progressed to become a manager at Bobbles. I have attended numerous courses, Master Colour and Buisness Building courses over a two year period. I get my inspiration from the team members and also by attending evenings presented by Bobbles Creative Team on the latest looks.
I am Salon Manager and the salon's front of house. I am responsible for the day to day running of the salon and making sure the clients receive the best possible service at all times. I like to be organised and professional at all times. Smiling is contagious.
I really enjoy working at Bobbles, I have been at the Tottington salon for 11 years.. I believe in giving my clients the best so I have attended many courses including Wella Master Colour Award. I have completed my NVQ level 3 and I recently completed my qualification to teach within the salons. I get my inspiration from our team and the Creative Team presentations.
I have been at Bobbles for 9 years and I am currently a Salon Director. I am integral part of the creative team which involves photo shoots and in salon presentations. I have recently been to London on an Advanced Sassoon cutting course which was extremely inspirational and motivational keeping me at the cutting edge of fashion (excuse the pun). I have also successfully completed the highest accolade in hair colouring, the Master Colour Award with Wella which has provided me with the latest colouring techniques and the confidence to tackle any colour correction problems. I pride myself on being a perfectionist and providing my clients with the best hair designs and service I can every day.
I started in hairdressing late when I was 21 but I loved every minute of my training and qualified quickly. I have since progressed to become the leader of the Creative team, creating looks for the Bobbles photo collections and training the rest of the team in cutting edge looks that I have learnt from leading hairdressing schools in London. I have been involved in the clothes show and was chosen for Schwarzkopf’s Young Artistic Team, and I have presented a shows to both large and small audiences. I have developed the Bobbles Academy which delivers cutting and colouring courses to other salons in the North West Area. I regularly attend Sassoon courses in London.
I have worked at Bobbles for 7 years and I have progressed from assistant to Creative Designer. I am attending an Advanced cutting course at Vidal Sassoons in London in June which will develop my creative cutting techniques to a new level. I have a passion for hairdressing and i feel this is reflected in the haircuts and service I give to my clients. My favourite part of my job is seeing a client leave the salon really happy with her hair design.
I joined Bobbles after completing my NVQ with another provider. I have achieved the postion of a Designer within the Tottington salon trying to establish a strong client base. i am still as enthusiastic as the day I joined and and fI strive to continually improve myself to achieve the high standards i demand of myself.
Bobbles is such a fun and friendly place to work, I really enjoy it. I have now graduated as a stylist and started doing my own clients in the salon which is really rewarding. It is a wonderful feeling when you give somebody a change and they love it. I help out on the creative team which I find really interesting and enjoyable.
I joined the Bobbles team in 2012 and have loved every minute. I have been a stylist for just over two years and I get satisfaction from seeing my clients leave the salon happy. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing and have recently been on a Vidal Sassoon creative cutting course in London, which has given me the confidence and inspiration to take back to the salon with my clients.
I've been with Bobbles for 3 years now, and I love coming to work. Having been qualified for just over two years, I love listening to my clients need and fulfilling their needs and all-importantly making them feel better and happier about their hair. I love all aspects of hairdressing, but especially putting up hair.
